This was a real business project when I was in Prosperity Group as the Marketing Manager. SPL is an
infrastructure lighting company under Prosperity Group.
It handles huge projects such as lighting systems in tubes, airport runways, hospitals, institutions, or
public facilities buildings. It grows from an SMB to a grow-up.
However, their original website, either in design or information architecture, didn't reflect the
company's scale. Therefore, they needed to turn the focus from individual lighting products to the power of
project management.

With the lesson learned from the Zzue Creation's project. I understand I need to focus on the content.
Content should be the mainstream of the website.
I created some files that contain all the content & sitemap and sought the sales head's approval before
creating the website.

The problem of information architecture - As the company grew, SPL turned the focus from individual
lighting products to the power of project management.
Design System - As the brand logo and guidelines were revamped, the website also needs to be updated to
maintain the brand image.
SEO - As the original system is a legacy system with fewer concerns on SEO matters, we need to use a
more easily customizable platform to ensure its presence in the search engine.

Business Goals Review

The main navigation is simple and easy to read.
Ensure the website design system is in sync with the new brand guidelines.
The new website uses navy & gold as the main colours, which is in sync with the latest brand
guidelines.
Considering WordPress as the building tool, add sufficient relevant keywords to
increase the crawling potential for search engines.
With the use of the new WordPress platform, we built the website with sufficient tags and alt text.
However, I moved to the UK in the later part of the project, I cannot get the review more complete.
Project Review
Scalable
Compared with Zzue Creation, this project is more scalable and controllable. I positioned and limited
myself to UX & content design. It made me more distant with the everyday amendments on and off.
Lack of Testing
Lack of testing is still part of the pain point of this project. As we didn't dedicate any budget to
testing, we can only get comments from the sales team.
